What decorative things can you do with a spare invite?

What decorative things can you do with a spare invite?

One of our guests asked us (trhough mom) to send them an 'extra' invite. I am suspecting that they want to do something nice with and now trying to do the guesswork... Any other uses for a spare invite besides framing it?

I've seen a shadow box done w/ the invitation...I was going to do that for my friend but it never happened

If you search the newlywed board they have some pics of invites in shadowboxes. Its really nice!

My friend got a pretty silver frame and on one side was the invite and the other side had a note that said reserved for picture of mr and mrs so and so.

i have also seen just the invite in a pretty frame and the shadowbox which i think is so pretty.
