I know, I know it's early for me but I have a 15% coupon on diapers at BRU and want to use it. It is never to early to save $$$ I figured I would just get Pampers for newborns. Any suggestions/comments/advice?

I love Huggies...but only the UltraTrim. I cant stand the Huggies Supreme.

Ive tried pampers- I recieved a case as a present! yay for me! I like the pampers SWADDLERS. it is harder to get them tho...and Ive heard that right from the folks at BRU. I think that they 'GIVE' more at the waist band
Ive tried huggeis but Juliannes leaked out the sides with that
Ive also tried white cloud- it is a walmart brand and I like that one too
BRU is having a diaper sale - I think it is 17.99 a case but I dont know what sizes

I swear by Pampers. We tried Huggies in the early stages, and they leaked all the time. Maybe it was just the newborn sizes, but I quickly abandoned them! Swaddlers are the newborn Pampers. Cruisers are for the toddlers. Since using Pampers, I have never had to change a single outfit or crib sheet b/c of a leaking accident.

Huggies UltraTrim all the way!! They are awesome, I have tried luvs, hated them, pampers are okay. Hope that helps.

I don't know what will work for my baby yet, but I've heard more moms like Pampers, so that is mostly what I have. My friend gave me a few packs of new born which her preemies grew out of quickly, I also have a bunch of newborn samples from BRU and Huggies. I have over 100 total newborn size. I bought one pack of size 1 (8-14 lbs) and 2 (12-18 lbs), so I think we're set for the first couple of weeks.

I had enough newborn diapers with the few packs the hospital gave me. Keep in mind they will probably give you at least 1-2 small packs. I only bought one pack of the newborn diapers with a cut out for the umbilical cord. I used those first, then the ones I came home from the hospital with. After that she was ready for Size 1. She was only 6lbs. 1 oz. at birth or she probably would have gone right to size 1.

Niha just so you know Emma wqent through 150 Newborn diapers when she was born before switching to size 1. she weighed 7lbs 15oz @ birth

I got a case of 192 Pampers Baby Dry size 1-2, up to 15lbs. And I saved $6.00, which I thought was pretty good.

I think that is about how many Annalise used- 150. Niha, you already have 100, so my guess is you will have enough (or close to it) with what you get from the hospital. If not, you will have plenty of time before you need more. I am sure you will be sending someone out to get other things at that point too.
