I had a hair trial tonight and I really didnt like it and I wanted to try a different style but my mom was with me and I could tell she wanted out of there because she doesnt like the girl that I went to. Regardless I left and I was telling FH later and I acted out of emotion and called her back to set up another trial! I dont think she's good enough but she cuts everyone is FH's family's hair and one of my BM's is going to her regardless if I do or not. So now I have a second trial that I dont really want to go to and I've known the woman for 6 years and I just dont know what to do or say now. And to top it off I still dont have a clue as to who to use for hair What a mess I created

One thing I'm realizing in the wedding planning is that you can not worry about offending people when it comes to things you like. I'd let FH or whoever know that maybe someone else has referred someone else to you and you think their style is more what you're looking for. Stick to your guys!!!!!

aww hun dont worry. YOu have to do what you feel best with. I have done the same thing. But I realized that I have to make the best decisions for ME for that day. If you need a recommendation for hair, Jillian from Diamond Cuts in Selden is FANTASTIC! I highly recommend her!

I agree w/ pp. I'm so bad about not hurting feelings, and I take everything personally, but its just about them making money nothing more. Treat it as a business, you weren't happy, find someone else.

its your wedding do what YOU want - i am guilty of this too - not wanting to hurt peoples feelings - this is why i dread dress fittings i have one tonight actually and my mom isnt here to come with me (she lives out of state) so thank god i have my FMIL - b/c she will get to the point and stick up for me - b/c i let people bully me sometimes or i feel bad to say i dont like something - or to ask them to change or fix something......but its your wedding and you should have everything that you want - im sure there is a way you can politely tell her that you wont need her services anymore that day...lie if you have to say that you won free hair for the day or something like that hahahaha.....
