We are giving them parent albums and a few of them are getting embroidered hankies [my Dad, StepMom, Mom, FMIL]. HTH!

well i don;t know what to do. i want to give my parenst something specail but just don't know what yet. as far as my fil well they haven;t given or offrered us a dime towards anything. my parents are even paying for the rehearsal dinner which my fil's are coming too. i feel funny handing out gifts to everyone but them but why should they get one for doing nothing.

we got them both an 8x10 frame- to be filled with a pic from wedding and gift certificates to 2 of their favorite restaurants

we got the dads watches, my mom the lenox piece of mother and daughter and dh's mom a coach bag.

My parents - a night in the city - reserved and paid for a hotel room, gc for dinner, train tickets and cab money. (they already had tickets to a show this night)
ILs - portable DVD player and gc for dinner

We didnt get my parents anything (i don't speak with my dad, and my mom doesnt deserve anything)...but for FH's parents, we bought his mom the dress that she will wear to the wedding....will buy his dad a watch, and as a couple gift, we bought them the photo album that goes with our guestbook and FG basket (we also have one for ourselves).

We got everyone something different... based on how much they helped really shhhh We got my mom a jewelry box & my dad really nice cuff links and since my MIL didn't do hmmm ANYTHING to help, we got her an inexpensive but NICE frame, and we got DH's step-dad cheap cufflinks from TJ MAXX

We are giving the both parents albums and then we bought them some cute little stuff ~ Hankies (Just ordered these ~ thank you to Gabi/twinkletoes) and I got my mom a makeup bag with a picture of us from my bridal shower together and I wrote 'I am blessed to call you mother'

FH and i want to do somehing spcial for my parents because they have contributed to so much of the wedding. My parents and his parents are definitely getting the parent albums and we wanted to get my parenst maybe like a night on the town (dinner and play tix maybe?)
