I just made my first one (yay!) and I feel like I know what I want more in my head than anything I've seen.
Did you girls bring a lot of pictures? Or other wedding stuff?

I brought pictures of things I liked (even though none of it was exact), and things I didn't like. I brought a bunch of pictures of colors of flowers, textures, designs, etc. I think the more you can help explain what you want the better. You know what they say a picture is worth a thousand words!

I just gave her my color scheme, what kind of flowers I liked and we went from there.
eta- if you have a swatch of the BM dress I would bring that

I had pictures of flowers that I wanted for me and all of BM's..its helps but u dont have to have them as long as you know what you want ..u should be find ...it was different for me b/c i really didnt know and the more i looked on line and saw flowers that i really liked ..im having an irish wedding so i didnt know that they use all wild flowers so that helped me out

i did not bring anything...i knew the colors i wanted and that was it. most florists have a ton of albums for you to look through plus they have samples out in their showrooms...so unless you know exactly what centerpiece or bok you want, i dont think you need to worry about pics.

I didn't bring anything with me. I told him about the wedding and the colors that I was thinking of using and he came up with great ideas. He really understood what I wanted without seeing anything.

THIS! I didn't bring anything. I told her what kind of flowers I like and the colors that I wanted. She went with it and made me a perfect sample.
