What did you do this weekend?

Since DH is a twin, we went to his mom's house for his and his brother's birthday (which is today). I had never actually been to MIL's with BIL and SIL together, it was kind of strange.

They freak me out!!!!

They're both super-skinny - she's abnormally so - and were very anti-American (they're getting better now)...but, here's the thing...they're so anti-American and yet they're totally into the gym, health food/protein shakes, etc, and very into their real estate (buying a house, fixing it up and then selling it) that they're both so LA it's not even funny!!!

Anyway, wasn't too painful, but I did spend most of the afternoon gauging my food intake based on what I saw her eat!

terrible I know, but looked so thin and she was wearing white pants!!!!!!

Saturday went to Cluelessbride's wedding and Sunday went to the outlets to return stuff and as has happened the past three times I've headed out to return, bought more!!! It's a vicious cycle!!!!

I also bought some pumpkins and made beef stew in the pressure cooker. And like 85 loads of laundry.

Friday we went to a friend's place for a party, where I met another LIW bride to be! Funny, small world...It was fun, ate and drank...She made crescent rolls with brie and peach jam inside, delicious and seemed oh so Emeril....Saturday picked up wedding stuff--candles, petals, etc...Watched movies with FH...Sunday watched football

totally not my thing but I am learning to compromise...oh and we returned a ton of our shower gifts to bed bath and beyond and enjoyed having money for a few minutes....

wow. that sounds.interesting. I'm sorry this is long, but we got so much done this weekend, i totally have to tell you about it!

Saturday: Went to look at Riviera. Didn't like it, crossed it off the list.

Found a GREAT diner in Seaford. The food was SO fresh and delicious!

Went to BJ's and bought 40 lbs of candy! For trick or treaters and our party! We also got a blow up lawn thingie with pooh and tigger.

We went to the pumkin festiavle thing at the garden center by our place in franklin square..bought more party stuff!

Came home and I really put a dent in the alundry, switched FH's summer and winter clothes, we set up our pantry. we totally cleaned the kitchen (finally), put everything away, scrubbed the sink, set everything up.

Then at 1:30 we finally went to bed!

Sunday FH's mom insisted on coming over to help with cleaning..so we went to churhc by my house and she met us there and we picked her up. We stopped at the mall. FH got his halloween costume, I got part of mine , and OF COURSE , more stuff for the party.
I bought a poncho! and 2 cute pairs of earrings!

Then we went back to FH's house and his mom helped us with the dishes. Everything was in storage, so it all had ot be washed, so she washed dishes while FH cleaned behidn the fridge (ew), and I dried and put away the dishes and did MORE laundry, and FH put together our medicine cabinet and other little cabinet for the bathroom. FH's dad came over to help us put up the cabinets and he said we need brackets for the walls and he's going tog et them for us and help FH put the stuff in during the week. We had dinner at Cheeburger Cheeburger. Ugh..never go at closing...not as good. But it was fun anyway. I went home. Yay. Got a lot done, still SO much more to do, but all in all very productive!

Saturday I had some friends over for a mini-halloween party

Sunday we went to Pet Smart and got Casey a new collar she is a big puppy now lol

Friday night I went to the Newlyweds GTG at the Macaroni Grill. We had a great time!

Saturday we went to NJ to celebrate my grandma's 99th B-day, which is today!

Sunday, I worked on internship applications and we went to Brad's grandma's apartment (a few towns over from us) to celebrate her b-day.

It was a grandma b-day weekend!
