What did you engrave on your wedding ring?

So I noticed that a lot of you already have your rings.

We should be ordering ours this week and I want to put something special on his. I need some ideas!

Since our names are both with J doing anything with our initials cuz i'm not sure it will looks good.

UGH!

i had 'steve' with the date
and he had 'shanon' with the date engraved on ours.

I wanted to engrave
His forever
Hers forever

or

Anthony's forever
Matilde's forever

but i have skinny fingers and the lady said it would be so tiny it would be hard to even read so we just got the date which i was a little upset about but oh well

That's what i'm kinda worried about...I don't want to put too much since it might not fit on the ring but also I don't know how much will actually fit. I should probably ask the store.

FH surprised me with an engraving on my e-ring.....the inside says Always Forever - that is like our 'thing' that we always say to eachother....we even joke around and say it in this voice that we have (yeah i know, we are sooo gay) and thats how he signs cards to me and stuff like that so it was really sweet that he thought to do that.....i was kind of hoping that he was going to do something like that and he did! go FH!! but anyway, i think my wedding band will say I LOVE YOU and then the - e ring will say ALWAYS FOREVER.....but i dont know for sure yet.....

Thank You is our wedding song....we wanted to do lyrics from it but they wont fit Oh well...we figured this was good enough

I think we are putting 'Indubitably' - when we first told each other we loved each other, i would say, 'How much do you love me?' And for some reason, FH answered 'Indubitably.' He wanted to write it on my engagement ring, but when the jeweler called to ask about the engraving, he was at work, and the jeweler was like 'how do you spell that?' he said, 'I have no idea.' Why the jeweler couldn't look it up I do not know. So he put 'eternally yours, Matt' On it.

Thats a great idea!!! It's funny, one of my friends just said the same thing to me but I didn't see it. When I mentioned it to her she was like...DUH I just said that

we were going to engrave out rings, but werent' sure what to put, so instead we got our wedding date tattooed on us. he has his on his left inside wrist, and i have mine on my left ankle in roman numerals.

Not meant as an insult but we'd never get tattoo's..it's against our religion.

I havent run this by FH yet but I want to split the lyrics to a song i love 1/2 one one band and 1/2 on the other:

its pretty long so we gotta see if they can fit it

I engraved on his ring 'Ur Stuck with me'

and he engraved on my ring 'No crazy glue required'

I thought that was the cutest thing..and different...LOL...my family got a kick out of it...

LOL- if we didn't do anything cute i would REALLY want to have engraved in his 'PUT IT BACK ON!'

I am putting WFBMS it means

it is our song...it was gonna be our wedding song but we are changing it cause i want a duet lmao! but it was the first love song he every played for me and its been our song for 7 years!
