My FH got me a DIGITAL CAMERA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wooohooooooo!!!!!!!

and we got our first 'couple' christmas gift. The Best Man gave us our whole audio entertainment set. The flat screen/cd thingy. Fh and I LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Burberry scarf, new coat, clothes, slippers, money, and a Coach hat that I wanted.

For not having a list, I think I made out pretty well!

forgot to add Aida tickets as well.

We also got some very nice couple gifts: cake plate, wine glasses and Christmas decorations

I Love Christmas!! I can't believe it is over already!

Ohh, and lots of gift certificates to restaurants being that FI and I are always complaining we have no $$ to go out anymore, LOL!!!!!!!!

My fiance bought me a Nikkon camera...exactly what I wanted! I also got some nice things for our home. I've never gotten gifts like that...I can't wait to register for more!

The Coach bag I wanted for work. FH told me I wasn't getting it! But he surprised me.

Gloves & the Ear Muffs I wanted.

A few others: Earrings, a few sweaters, a velour (sp?) sweatsuit, a few games, diskman, Nine West boots, Deisel Sneakers, a lot of gift certificates, etc. I can't think anymore....

Some couple gifts: Christmas tree decorations, the heart crystal vase on our registry, toasting flutes from Tiffany's, and a Lenox butler tray.

I got a beautiful jewelry box, cologne and some other stuff, but my favorite gift from FH was a 45 of our wedding song with the lyrics printed on a page and he said he's having it framed for us! I didn't know he could be that romantic!!

FH got me a new bathrobe & a CD/Clock Radio. The robe I desperately needed since the one I had was about 15 years old & falling apart & the CD/Radio I wanted for work.

We got only 2 couples gifts:

A set of flannel sheets and his parents got us the rest of our silver. They got us service for 4, the hostess set and the wood box to store it in for our e-party & another service for 8 today. I hadn't even registered for silver nor was I going to but they wanted to get it for us.

FH gave emerald & diamond earrings!! Which I LOOOOOVE He gave me a mushy card!! He also got me 2 cds that wanted.
Our son got me a beautiful shirt! Which I wore yesterday!!

We got 2 couple gifts- A DVD player & gift cert to a restaraunt.

One of the sweetest gifts was given to me by my brother who made me smelly soaps & like 10 of them had photos of my son!!! I cried!!!

We had a budget, $100, and both of us were v. creative - he got a coupon to a jewelry store so he upped the gift without the $$. FH gave me beautiful J hoop white gold earrings, and a totally cheap pair of ss funky earrings (which was all I really wanted), and some cd's.

I also got a Tiffany necklace, which I posted on the NWR board. I am not sure if I want to keep it.

Edited to say - his parents gave us more of our silverware

I got a new computer, beautiful diamond earrings, ticket to see Cabaret @ studio 54 next week, a few computer games. He got me a bunch of other things. He said he wanted to 'go all out this year' since next x-mas will be a couple month before the wedding and he won't be able to do that much.

Our couple gift was a coffee pot, we don't actually drink coffee, but we need it for company. And my parents are paying our hall payment next month so we can catch up on bills! I love them.

I got a new bathrobe, nightshirt and slippers, a yankee candle, a few PS2 games and a bunch of DVD's. Wahoo!!!!!! The only couple gifts we have gotten so far are from my FFIL - he bought us the rest of our silverware and from my FMIL - she bought us a Lenox cake topper for the wedding!!!

I got beautiful bride ornaments, 2 jackets one leather, one in camel colored wool, VS pjs, great VS makeup case, clothes, comforter set and ohter miscellaneous items.


The only thing I dont like about this wedding thing is that my family gets me stuff for the house nice like crystal bowls, holiday plates. Not that Im not appreciative but I like stuff for me..............

I got a new watch, money, yankee candles, bathrobe, sweaters, pajamas, perfume, gift cards, and tons more professional film (courtesy of a friend at a major newspaper )

we kept it light due to a wedding in 4 1/2 months!

I agree with you ladies as well as wanting stuff for you. Though I dont mind getting couple stuff. We got lovely glasses that I cant wait to have guests over just so i could give them their drink in that glass. Plus we are going to have a house built next year so all our couple gifts we are getting I put in the closet at the moment and when we have our house these will be the first items going in.

Wacky: My FH was complaining about the same thing! His mother and sister both said they were going to purchase christmas gifts for us from our registry and he got really mad! He told his mother 'I put time, effort and thought into your gifts - my registry is not there for christmas gifts!'

Thankfully, we didn't get anything off our registry, or he would have been more upset!!

...but his grandmother did give me a rice cooker that I have no idea what to do with!

we got this stuffed paranah! LOL! I don't know where to put it! My cousin gave it to us who we haven't seen in a long time! My family would be devistated if we tossed it out or put it in a closet! I did get a beautiful neckalce from my DH that has diamonds and saphires in it!

I don't celebrate XMAS either, but for hanukkah I got a fur cute jacket from FI, white blouse from FIL'S, a check from fGP's, and cash from my mother. Yay! My brithday was last month and for it, I got skis from my FIL's so I wasn't expecting, not did I want, more from them!!! I did well this year!
