my brother and i split a GPS for my dad and i got my mom a lenox candy dish
i am waiting for my brother to think of something awesome for my mom too that i can also split
I split everyones gifts with my brother!! except for FHs gift otherwise my brother and I split my mom, dad, younger bro and grandmas gifts lol its so much cheaper that way!!! I'm usually not a cheap person but this year is a lil tight

i got my mom: a new cordless phone/answering machine combo 'chicken soup for the cat lover's soul' and a few tops
i got my dad (who passed) a new angel for his tree at the cemetery a gorgrous wreath new ornaments for his tree

I spoiled my mom but I had the help of FH and my brother chipping in - we got her a laptop (printer came with it) a lenox bowl to match her set, a Coach picture brag book thingy, a teddy bear, perfume, salad bowl and I made her a picture book on Shutterfly .. my mom NEVER gets stuff for herself so we love spoiling her at Christmas
My dad - total opposite hes always buying for himself and hes so picky and rude - if you buy him something he doesnt like he lets you know about it - we ended up getting him a GC for BestBuy and one for Circuit City, a few shirts and a CD

I got my dad CDs and baseball hats. My mom is getting new sneakers, PJs and earrings. I also got them a gift together - a new LCD HDTV for our shore house

we got my dad button-up corderoy shirts..all he wears
we got fmil a GC to Cold Water Creek (a/k/a middle-age administrators.com)
We got ffil 'old man shirts'...lol (just plain button-up plaid/check shirts) idk why FH calls them old man shirts
we cheaped out this year w/ the wedding- we are sooo bad
What about a GC or a spa GC for your mom?

mommy's main gift is a set of 1000 thread count sheets (that i totally got for 1/3rd the price, yeah me!) and daddy's main gift is new george foreman grill

i got my mom the family tree necklace from red envelope. i put in the birthstones of her, my dad, my brother and I in it. for my dad, hes been into going to the shooting range lately, so we bought him a scope for his gun. lol.

I want to get them something good bec for New Years my parents give me and my sisters money. They dont give us gifts on xmas. They just host our family xmas dinner party.
i wish i could but if i spend alot of money on x-mas gifts then i wont have money to pay my rh and then im screwed lol. I had to give $4500 last week which really didn't help and now $9000 so its not like i shouldn't spend alot of money bc of the wedding but i couldn't even if i wanted to...ill save money and get them nice gifts at the wedding...plus fh and i went all out last year and bought both of our parents lots of gifts
