mine: gift cert to a nice restaurant in nyc and tickets to a show
his: tickets to dinner cruise from nyc (bateaux)
and frames with a nice saying and their wedding photo and a blank spot for our wedding photo

Thanks ladies! Those are great ideas! We already gave them digital frames last year for Christmas. My mom's is still in the box. Maybe she won't know if I re-gift??? Just kidding! The gift certificate and frames could definitely work . Keep the ideas coming please

we didn't get 'em anything.
well actually ... DH's dad got socks that say 'father of the groom', and his mom got a handkerchief that said 'mother' and came with a poem. ($5 each)

I think our parents would be upset with us if we spent a lot on them. We are paying for the wedding ourselves but my mom gave us our e-party and his parents are giving us the rehearsal dinner. Both of our moms paid for my shower. I really want to do something nice but nothing too crazy.

We got a personalized photo album at things remembered. It had some quote about family engraved on it and then said 'Gina & Michael July 24, 2010.
I don't remember it being that much money

parent albums and my parents gc to Ruth's Chris Steakhouse and gc to movies, and we are taking them to AC one weekend.
my hubby got his mom a necklace and parent album

We're taking my parents the city to see the Christmas Spectacular and out to dinner. And we also are giving them a parent album.
ETA: His parent's we're just giving a parent album to. DH didn't seem to care about giving them a gift... I can't imagine why

Thanks ladies! Some of you reminded me that FH and I ordered parent albums so that could be part of their gift. We just got back from the mall. I bought my mom a necklace and FH is going to give his parents a gc to a restaurant (I think).
