I know some girls are not giving parents gifts, and some are giving the album as the gift. What is everyone else doing? I need to gather some ideas for gifts. Thanks!

We bought picture frames from Things Remembered and had them engraved. We put one of our engagement photos in there for now. I'm also going to get FIL a gift certificate. And I got my Mom some Lenox figurines I knew she wanted.

I'm buying my parents figurines (Willow Tree Father/Daughter for my dad... Precious Moments Mother of the Bride for my mom) and paying for them to either go away for the weekend out east... or just cold hard cash for them to hit the slots in A.C. (which my mom has been seriously REFRAINING from - which has been a HUGE sacrifice - in order to pay for more than half of our wedding. She can't WAIT to go!!). And scratch off lottery tickets for my mom (which is a 'staple' present since she gets a kick out of them).
For my FH's mom (who is only paying for the RD) - a frame for the wedding picture (probably engraved).

I think I'm getting picture frames and then giving them a wedding photo after the wedding of us together in them... + I'm getting the mom's hankerchiefs

I guess the albums would be the main gift. Something sentimental probably in addition.

I was thinking of getting my parents either a Broadway show weekend package which includes 2 nights in a hotel and dinner or 2 nights at the Mohegan Sun which they've never been to. Then we're giving the parent albums to both my parents and FH's mom.

Well I got my parents and FMIL embroidered hankerchiefs keep sakes to carry with them the day of the wedding,... Other then that they aren't getting anything... My FMIL is paying for the photographer, so I can't even give them that...

I wanted to do this, but my Dad's sister gave my mom an embroidered handkerchief at Christmas last year...
but I do think it is a lovely Idea, especially for the Moms!

We got parent albums with the package, so we decided for my Mother and Father to buy them a frame from www.exclusivelyweddings.com that has my birthdate and wedding date on it with a picture of me as a baby and then an empty space for the wedding photo of me.
His parents - prob just a gift card, b/c they haven't contributed that much.
