I am just wondering what people pay for wedding bands. FH and I cant agree on what we should spend on mine.

The trick is, pick out a bunch for 3 or 4 thousand... and then be like, oh look honey this one is a steal! We call that the 'door in the face' strategy... works like a charm... lol

Mine was free (my grandmothers ring). His was $150, but the one I had picked out before I knew I was getting my grandmothers was $1000.

We haven't looked for FH yet, he just keeps telling me dont worry we can get his the day before lol

crashing - this is EXACTLY what i did
$2000 didn't seem bad after I showed him the $3-5K ones

We paid $1000 for both of ours. If I didn't find one that matched my ring, I would've had one made.. and I'm quite sure that would've uped the price.
