What did you put on your RSVP's?

Meaning: what was the wording?

We did ours, but can still change it.... we put some wording and then three lines:
accept
decline
# attending
I am gong back and forth on the # attending thing because of what people here keep saying about their guest including more than were invited.... my parents don't think anyone we know would do this... we also invited the kids of pretty much anyone with kids and all single people with guests....
I don't know what to do! Without that line how do you know how many are coming - like the familes, what if one of their kids can't come, or the if those invited with guests are not bringing a guest?
Sorry this is so long, but I am a bit torn.

Traditionally - you write the exact names of the people you're inviting on the inner envelope.

Do I think it works - nope - people still don't get it and bring whoever they want.

Those who accepted put the number accepting
those who declined just put a check mark or an x in the space provided
