Hi Ladies,
I've read it's an ongoing headache for all brides that are not having young children at their wedding and I'm hoping to get some words of wisdom from those that have dealt with this already.
If you weren't having young children at your wedding and were concerned that guests might think the kids are invited .....
What did your RSVP card say to help clarify this ?????

We're experiencing this headache as well. Adult only affair which we're having age 18 and older only. FH's family is too big and the guest list is out of control...we're up to 310 already with a 250 minimum!!
I can relate so, on the envelope itself will only be those who are invited specifically.
i.e.: Mr and Mrs Michael Smith
The RSVP says:
'The favour of a reply is requested'
Before April 7th, 2007
M_____________________
Number of Persons _____
So basically if the guest replies with 3 or 4 people and we know we only invited Mr. and Mrs. Michael Smith, then we have to get on their case and say, I'm sorry, but we only invited you and your wife meaning 2 guests.'
I know people's noses will get out of joint, but tough it's our wedding and this is what we want.
