I have 2 friends that dated for about 2 years and recently broke up. They definitely won't be getting back together and I plan to invite them both to my wedding. They really don't know anyone else other than a handful of people and I rather seat the chick and her date with those people than him. I can't put them at the same table, could I? I mean it would be almost a year since they broke up, but wouldn't it still be weird? Where would I put him?
Can you talk to the both of them and see if it would be alright? Was it an amicable break-up?
I wouldn't put them at the same table. I would feel weird.
You can ask them if they don't mind sitting at the same table. Then it's still up to you but if you have extra room at another table I would split them up. HTH.

Yeah, I know. It's just something I thought of though. It's like what do I do? It would be awkward! lol I know I wouldn't want to sit at a table with my ex at a mutual friend's wedding!

In that case, it is a tricky situation. Youre gonna have to seperate them which *****. But youll figure something out. Dont stress it too much. I have a few people who cant sit anywhere near eachother because they hate eachother. but Im not gonna worry too much. Good luck.

i would ask them both how they feel about it and if they are not comfortable, dont put them together, you dont want tension at your wedding...its not bad if they dont know anyone at their table i dont think
I definitely wouldn't put them at the same table..I think that would be wierd for them..
