Nope. The fact that she wasn't sure she would be invited shows that she is aware that she may not.
Does that make sense? I don't think she is necessarily expecting an invite. Save your $$$ for someone you would truly miss.

If we invited every person we USED to be good friends with...our weddings would cost mucho denaro! I decided not to invite anyone I haven't spoken to in a year or more. Do not feel obligated to invite someone because you WERE good friends with them...if she didn't come would you care? If NO....don't bother stressing yourself out over the $$ jmo

I would invite her. She used to be one of your best friends. If you two were to start talking again more often in the future, you might regret not inviting her.

wow---stinky situation! honestly---i made a rule with guests:
a)if i haven't hung out with you in the past year more than like 3x--no invite
b)if we don't have some sort of regular communication thru---phone or email---at least once a month or two -- no invite
c)if neither one of us have called the other to invite each other out in the past year---no invite
obviously there are exceptions here and there---but that was a test i used for some friends that i didn't communciate with as much on the regular anymore--that i 'used to' hang out with alot

You need to thing about her and the other people that you are deciding if you invite. If you feel that on your day you would rather have her there then someone else then invite her. If you wont even notice that she isn't there then why spend the money on her when you could invite someone else that you truly want there.
