so i already ordered my wedding dress last year June.. i thought i was all set..i loved my dress at the time.. but thru the year i started to change my mind.. now i saw another dress i love but the wedding is less like 3 months away.. i think it's too late to order, but i dont think ill be happy in the other dress...(Private Label by G 1226)..its not poofy enough for me (at first i didnt want a dress that was too poofy) what do i dooo

Have you tried on your original dress again? If not definitely go do that. Maybe you just don't realize how much you still love it. Also maybe you can add more crinoline. Good Luck!!!

the private label is gorgeous! That was my second choice, but my friend gonzo23456 wore it for hers. Check her out on the '07 boards. She looks stunning and I'm sure you will too.

I'm wearing a private label dress and its def. not as poofy as I wanted it to be. but i fell in love with it i'm going to have them add more crinoline to it to give it some volume lol

Private Label dresses are gorgeous. Go try it on with your veil and headpiece. I am sure you will feel better once you see how beautiful you look.

I thought I wanted another dress b/c I also ordered my dress in June. When I went to try it on 2 weeks ago I fell in love all over again. I think because I hadn't seen it in over a year I forgot. Always go with your first instinct, but if you're truly not happy order it and have them rush it.

I would try on your dress again, even if its the sample and im sure by adding a slip or some crinolin or tulle underneath itll poof it out a bit!

i agree...u can add pouf with something underneath if u think u want/need more...so an easy fix!

You will look gorgeous no matter what you wear because you will be all done up and HAPPY!
If you are truly miserable in the dress, or uncofortable for some reason, see if you can buy off the rack or at davids bridal..their dresses come in quick!

I think with 3 months to the wedding you really wouldn't be able to get a new dress. It's natural to second guess your dress choice....but you will ook gorgeous whichever dress you make.
If your heart is set on the new dress talk to the bridal shop and see what they can do for you.

I am sure that you can add puff with a slip or the crinoline (sp?). I had the same fears, I kept seeing dresses that I thought I loved more than mine, but when I went 2 weeks ago to try it on, all of my fears went away. Maybe you can try it on again and ask the shop to add underneath. I hope it works out for you

thanks girls.. as much as i love the other dress, it would be crazy to pay extra for the new one and add rush shipping.. ayy i will def. add more crinoline.. i dont get to try on my dress til july.. so i'll just have to wait.. whyyy am i so indecisive?!??!

The Private Label 1226 definitely (IMO) looks best with a very full crinoline. I wore it in my wedding a few weeks ago, and I LOVED it. im going to add as much as i can under my dress to poof it out - i also like the full look but the ball gown style dresses that i liked (for example eom dresses with pick ups) would be to heavy and big for me - im really short and petite, plus i didnt want anything heavy so i bought an a-line demetrios dress but im going to try and fill it out with the biggest slip i can get under there

Add a crinoline slip underneath and ask them to add it to the dress-I would not buy another dress only b/c it is soo close. I also thought I wanted a new dress but once I put it on and it finally fit I was sooo happy.
