So, FH and I go to our hall to make a payment. He looks around, its a beautiful day, and he says 'we should move the wedding up from Dec. To April or May.' I haven't done much planning other than the hall, but I don't know if I should say ok to that or not. I need advice!

Did you sign yet? If you move it to April/May, that might be a higher price also - so that's something to consider.

April -May is considered the beginning of peak in most places soit will probably be more money but if its in your budget definitely Go for it :)

ITA. And then all the other vendors might be more expensive as well.

you still have plenty of time to plan it out, if you have the money to do it earlier. check about the price difference if there is any

Re: what do I do?
april/may weddings are really nice, but also really expensive as that's when the wedding season really starts, so just make sure you're willing to move the wedding date up and pay a premium for it before you actually do it.

Re: what do I do?
i agree with the girls... you will have enough time to plan (for sure) but it will most def be more expensive
why not tell the RH that if they have any cancellations for spring to let you know - you can get a deal then!

I would definitely check it out! I love spring/summer weddings. Even early fall is nice. I personally hate the cold. And think of the outdoor photo options!!

I signed and have paid half of it already. FH says the money will come around, but I need to have everything set in stone. I don't have an idea of what I want the wedding to look like and that may be where my problem is. I like spring, but winter is really pretty also! I wanted to take pics during the first snow. Stupid FH makling me rethink my ideas!

But you can't guarantee the first snow will happen just before your wedding. Any what if the first snow happens the day of your wedding? Don't plan anything based on weather. Plan it for the hall and time of year you like best.

Re: what do I do?
you and your FH should price it out and weigh the pros and cons.
you want a snowy blanket, he wants a sunny day.
but if you go by the weather only, ya might get a blizzard and a monsoon LOL
Many times budget determines the season people get married.
How set is your FH on the seasonal change?
this was unusually warm march weather. If ya want spring- just remember - April showers bring may flowers,
(im getting married in april -so im very much praying for good weather)
In the end the FH might bow to your wishes since weddings are mostly a 'girl' thing (yes i know there are groomzillas though)
