what do i do? (bm dress related)

so when we ordered the dress they said 'at least 10 weeks', so when 10 weeks were up i called to find out when...they said 'june' but didnt have an exact date so i call this past weekend and they said there was no ship date written down so theyll find out and call me monday...no call so i called today and they said they called the designer and are waiting for a call back so they have no idea as of now

has this happened to others? what do i do just sit and wait for them to call me now? im just getting a little worried bc i have under 2 months now

You have plenty of time....I have responded many times to posts like this.....
My WEDDING DRESS, that's right, MY DRESS came in 11 days before my wedding.....
I know exactly what you are going through....Just be patient.....It will all work out....HTH!!!

I don't know if you have read the other posts on Waters and Waters but there seems to be some type of problem with that designer...there are many brides that are freaking out over that designer. I will try and BUMP the post.

yeah i remember reading another post about them being delayed so thats why i dont think its the bridal stores fault..i just want to know when to expect them so i dont freak out anymore..and do i just trust that the store will call me when they know? or should i try to call again in a week? or is that being too annoying?

I can't find the post, You can trust them that they will call you however I would keep on it. Call once a week! That way when they do come in you will be fresh in their mind. It is NOT being annoying! Believe me I'm sure they have handled worse cases. HTH

I'm having the same problem. They told me the dresses would be in by end of May and fittings should be mid-June (which is in 5 days by the way lol). So I called mid-May because I hadn't heard anything. They said they should be in any day now. Well that was a month ago so one of my bm's called today and they said the same thing. I'm going to have my sister call tomorrow and ask them to call the designer. We ordered them in September-October the very latest. We haven't picked shoes yet because I'm waiting to see the color of the sash. I would just keep calling to bug them. Maybe have your bridesmaids call too so keeping the pressure on. Good luck!!!!!

Can I add to this vent

My girls had ordered their dresses in November. The lady that I dealt with at the Salon told me that the orders had to go in all at the same time becuase all of the dresses are to be made by the same fabric...so they are an exact match.

Well my BMs dresses are trickling in...how are they not sent in together if they were ordered off the same material reel. What BS!

Anyway no worries, I know it will be fine but of course once they get the money everything is in their hands, I am at their mercy!!!!

I would call them every couple of days to get them on top of the designer.

If all else fails, the s!unts will go there and kick hineys
