I think I might be a few people short of my minimum...is there anything I can do? We are happy with our list and don't want to really invite anyone else...any thoughts?

you dont have anyone you were on the fence with about inviting? i say your paying for them anyway so why not just invite anyone that fits in the friendship catagory.

I'm afraid they would know they weren't on the 'a' list...it's so late. only one month to go!

i'm having the same problem and i think i've just come to the realization that i'm paying for empty seats..bummer but i couldn't turn down the room just because i didn't have enough people..if you're on the fence about anyone you might as well just invite them..

well, just add your service people such as your dj, video person photographer and so on. I know that some halls make u pay a little less for these people but instead just add them as a quest

well its not a bad thing that they werent on the list, anyone whos planned a wedding knows that things happen and its exspensive planning a weddding. plus if they take offense then they can say no to going. whos it going to hurt by sending the invite.

You do have a couple of options. You can invite more people, you can pay full price for your vedors to meet the minimum, or you can talk to your hall and see if they will throw in some extras- many halls will do that.

This is true. My friend is short about 15 people and her hall is letting her include vendors so she doesn't have to pay extra for them.

yup invite the liw gals - i did that too just a few days ago - so far only one gal wants to come from here though
but since you have to pay for them anyway why not fill all the seats?

We might be in the same situation..
I would say the first thing to do is call those who didn't get a guest, and tell them they can bring one. This way there is less wierdness than asking someone last minute out of nowhere.
