some hotels will send it to your house (or your parent's house). if they don't ask them to hold it in the back office and ask someone to pick it up for you. probably best to have someone bring it to dry cleaners or dress preservation place soon after wedding day if you had any spills on it. But I would check out dry cleaners before the wedding or get recommendations as to who does the best job with gowns.
