Sometimes people intend to come and forget to mail the RSVPs back. I would contact them to find out if they plan to come, you don't want them to show up on the day of the wedding.

CALL THEM!!!! some people think that you assume you know their coming....you dont want them to show up and have no seat for them! Hopefully a lack of response in your case means a no, but you can never be sure!

yeah definitely call them and if they're 'IFFY' tell them that they have to feel obligated to come because you're over the limit anyways HTH!

agreed.. you have to give the RH a #.. you dont want to be bothered the day of with people who show up and didnt rsvp and figuring out where they'll sit and so on..

You have to call them and get an answer, or get FH to call if they are guests on his side. It is just plain rude not to RSVP to anything.
You do not want to deal with the unexpected surprise of 10 guests showing up that you have not accounted for. A table will have to be set, there will not be enough favors and you will have to pay for these guests on the spot. Works out ok if you have no shows, but it is not worth the aggravation.

Call them, I actually got one rsvp back the day of the wedding....and it was a YES! I couldn't believe it! Luckily we had a feeling about these people and factored them in to the seating and final head count. I had a few older realtives who forgot to mail the response back. Just be on the safe side, because you don't want to be surprised the day of.

Call them and just ask if they will be attending, some people forget to send it, think they thought it-and I am sure that some got lost in the mail, I received a few RSVPs that look like they were eaten

Hunt them down and torture them! Just kidding, although that is what you want to do when you are getting down the hilt.
I would call them, or if it is your parents' friend or FH's friend, have your parents or FH call them.

If your close enough with them call - I left it up to my MOH and Wedding planner. My DH did call his side.
I have news for you I still didn't know what was going on with like almost 10 p the day of! I had to give the head count regardless. I was scrabling to replace the seats last minute the night bfr . Thought it was better than just throwing away $$$ - so I ended up having some fill in's and guess what??? Most ended up showing anyway - CRAZY!
at the end of the day just let it all go and enjoy your day whatever ends up happing.

i had only let one rsvp go on this one the rest i had called. The one I didn't go nuts seaking was a person who lived VERY far away and i really didn't think they woudl show anyway!
