I'm so not sure what to get my future father in law for a gift! I got my mother in law a plaque and the hankie with a special saying but what do I get him? We are going to give his parents a framed picture of our engagment picture since his mother is always saying how she never has any picture oif us FH hates having his pciture taken! My father I got him a hankie and a picture from that will have a pciture of me and a child and then now as a bride and it say 'I will always be Daddy's little girl' with my brithday on the side with my baby picture and my wedding date on the other side.

Maybe something engraved? Did you check out things remembered? If he smokes cigars maybe a cigar case personalized... if he is a beer drinker you could get an engraved mug or a 'beer-a-month' subscription. Maybe something special to use the day of the wedding, cuff links (which can also be personalized) or a really nice tie pin??

If your fh and his father are close and sports fans how about a picture of them together at a game when fh was a child and tickets for a sporting event or you could try to find a book on fathers and sons. If they both play golf you can get him a gift certificate to a course where they can play a round together.
