I thought it was just photo ID? The website I am looking at says I need my Birth Certificate as well??

In the 5 boroughs you just need your license in nassau/suffolk you need your birth certificate.

You can get a new 'original' it has to have the seal.

The website also says original baptismal certificate.. so my mom is searchign for that at the moment.

Oh thats pretty far....but you can make a day of it...if the certificate thing takes too long you have plan B.

I think you're right!
it has to be certified with the seal...mine wasn't the 'original' original.....but it was from the registrar's office with their seal.....we went to oyster bay and neede DL and BC.

You can get your original BC with the raised seal in a few minutes...go to the town hall where you were born and it costs $10....I have to go get FHs because he has no idea where he put it!!!
