I don't know about the Smithtown Town Hall but I just got my checklist from Islip Town. You'll need the fee, original birth certificates and additional piece of ID (license, passport, etc...). I don't have the list in front of me but I think that's what you guys will need to bring with you.

all we needed was our original birth certificates and our drivers' licenses...

It's wherever Fred gets his fishing license'!!! Deb and Fred went there today and got their marriage license, but I can't help you with the details. Mary MOB

you can go ANYWHERE....just has to be in the state in which you are going to be married.
