I think it depends on what you are planning on doing down there--

But, I would bring a couple of nice summery dresses, shorts, skirts, a couple nice pair of shoes, flips, sneaks, tees and tanks... Maybe a little hat or some scarves for your hair.

Oh, and sunscreen!

Aside from the usual things you bring on vacation....Sunblock, sunglasses, insect repellent, comfortable clothing, bandaids, good reading material, aloe, water shoes, etc.

Oh, and please don't go swimming with your wedding bands and e-ring no matter how tight they are.... My DH's ring slipped off while we were just wading in the water below our bungalow......... Luckily he managed to find it in some coral!

dbcrosby,
You are getting married the day after me. :)
I am a Fox Hollow bride. FH and I have not booked our honeymoon yet, but I would love to go to Tahiti and/or Australia.

For those of you who have booked Tahiti, who did you book through? Where are you staying?
I haven't done a ton of research on this yet since I am consumed with other aspects of the wedding still.

I just got back 1 month ago and posted a full review . We were on the Tahitian Princess. I highly recommend water shoes for the ocean , and the highest sunscreen you can get. I wore waterproof 45 and still looked like a lobster. Lots of tee shirts it can get humid, and a few bathing suits, let your credit card companies know you will be there so they do not block your charges, if you get to Tahaa, get a loose black pearl they are alot less then getting them set in something there and make sure you get a certifiate it is real. We got ours at The Motu Pearl farm in Tahaa. I am in the process of mounting mine at the jewlery store- I got a great price on it, and it is worth a lot of $$ in the USA. feel free to Fm mail me if you have specfic questions, I will try to answer them.
