well if you need cups plates pots pans ect then why not register for them? or did you mean you DON'T need them? if you don't need them and you said you don't want to do a HM registry..then let your bridal party and parents know that if people ask you'd like them to just give money since you don't really need anything...you can't say it yourself otherwise it looks really tacky and i know you don't want that...so best to let other people spread the news word of mouth

My friend who was already living her fiance still registered -- what about nice towels? It's always good to have nice sets of towels, beddings when you have guests at your home. Do you like to cook? If so, what about cooking/baking gadgets? China? This is the few times in life where people buy gifts to celebrate your milestone -- of finding and marrying your mate! (the next one is having babies -- hehe)
I understand as a bride-to-be that of course cash is most appreciated. But, your guests will probably want to also send you something you'll keep for your lifetime

You can register for your Honeymoon...there are a few websites..i know www.honeyluna.com is one...its GREAT!!!! you can register so guests give you certain amounts of $$ (its too hard to explain...lol if you go to the website they explain it MUCH better then my attempt) basically they transfer the $$ to your account a few weeks before your wedding...its a way to get cash but not really ask for it!!! HTH!!!!

If you have everything I would register for things you couldn't afford before like Lenox

I thought the same thing, my FH and I have lived together for 5 years!!! But you'd be surprised- we went to BB&B and I have a lot of stuff on my registry. We upgraded to nicer dishes and got all the service pieces with it, new glasses, just lots of stuff upgraded. You would be surprised how much stuff you could actually add- things that maybe you wouldn't spend the $$ on yourself, but things you could use.

Same here! We have lived together for 2 years but when we registered we upgraded to stuff we would not have spent $$ on and we have a lot too!
