so someone ratted out the date of my shower but i still need to act surprised so what do it do about my outfit..do i just happen to be wearing something nice or do i go casual in jeans????

Where do you think you are going? If you are going out to lunch, then you could get away with a skirt if it's warm, so you won't look like you knew.

if the shower is a few weekends away...start dressing nice each weekend going foward...and announce to everyone that you don't want to be caught off guard for your shower...so your just going to dress nice every weekend until the shower.

I don't know when it is but I tolf FH to make sure I'm in the outfit or bring it so I can change into it.

ohhh thats a good idea...but you could also ask FI verrrrrry sweetly if he wouldn't mind taking you out to a nice lunch every weekend, just so you can be ready, but also use that as an excuse!!!!
I wore a semi-casual but not too casual outfit, but I just happened to get my hair done that morning.

When i picked up my cousin for her shower...she was dressed in this ugly sweater thing she had...it was her cozy weekend sweater. I encouraged her to change...telling her that it was really HOT outside. Luckily she never caught on. It wasn't until she was standing in a room full of people yelling surprise that she realized what was going on.
I wasn't so lucky when my sister had her shower...she was wearing raggy sweatpants covered in paint....I told her she looked like she should be heading to home depot not lunch....she knew right off the bat that it was her shower when I said that.

I would wear something casual..your lucky one of your bm told you i have been asking my girls and no one will tell me and i have so many papers to write i think its either april 16 or 23 and they wont confirm the weekend. its so hard..
