What do I wear?? It's in a church and then the 'reception' is at a Country Club. It is going to be soooo cold and I have to travel on the train to NJ, so I really don't want to wear anything too fancy or uncomfortable. Ideas?

I think a warm sweater with a knee length (or longer) skirt, tights and boots would be look nice. You could wear wool socks to help you stay extrawarm.

Thank you for replying. I was thinking a long skirt with boots and a sweater too....I just wanted to make sure that it's appropriate.

LOL--I have one on Saturday and will be wearing the same.........long suede skirt, boots and black sweater.
You can also wear a nice pair of dressy black pants if you think you will be too cold in a skirt
