wHAT DO i WRITE ON THE TABLE CAMERAS?

I JUST HAVE KODAK FUN SAVER CAMERA'S. SHOULD I WRITE SOMETHING ON IT? IF SO, WHAT?

I have plain kodak cameras as well..(I'm mean, they are ugly) I was going to put a label on them..but then I figured that my guests would know what to do.

what will you label say? I mean I think my guest could figure it out..... but you never know!!

DEFINATELY DO SOMETHING! Seriously!! I put one on each table and never thought to leave a note, spread the word or write anything on them. Towards the end of the wedding I found out all my guests thought the cameras were someone elses, so my aunts ended up running around trying to finish them.

Thats something I would have changed.

Trust me, it wont always work. Think about this..

Youre not the first couple at the table.. You probably will not know its not another guests camera.. At least mine didnt. If I were to do it again I would not gamble with it.

Our tag fell off of one of the cameras at the table, and when i went to visit, i asked them if they were using the camera, and they all looked at me like i was nuts... they all figured that the camera belonged to someone else... Amy is right... you need to have something on the camera... always assume that all people are oblivious and stupid!

WRITE SOMETHING!!!! The best advice I got was to write 'Please Turn On the Flash' right on the back of the camera near where you look through the viewfinder. I put it in black marker on a label. It showed. (Brides that didn't do that had most of their pics too dark) Try to spread the word too when you go to talk to tables. Even though we wrote a note, others totally missed it.

And at the end of the night we were still missing 2 cameras. Guess 2 people thought they got them as favors.

Don't assume people know.

I LOVE THIS IDEA!!!! That way you get pictures that are candid instead of pictures of the floor!!!

It's also a good idea to tell them to leave the camera on the table or to a designated spot. My MOH was trying to chase them after the ceremony. Some people did not tell her or anyone else that they took them to develop the film themselves. They were trying to do something nice for the bride meanwhile she was going crazy looking for them.

I asked my aunts to pick them up about an hour before the wedding was over to make sure I got them. I would also recommend putting the table #s on them that way if one disappears you can narrow down who has it.

I'm going to do a scavenger hunt with mine, to see what types of photos my guests can come up with, since my photographer won't be able to go table to table taking pictures and catching the zany things we all do at weddings.
