It depends on who gives it. At ours a psychologist came in and talked about different aspects of marriage and then discussed his own marriage. On the third day the deacon came in and discussed the importance of religion in a marriage. It was so easy compared to what some our friends have gone through. They only asked use once to talk. It was basically all listening to people's experiences in marriage.
problems that can come up in a marriage and how to handle them. Such things as family interference, dealing with little things that annoys us about a person...even about our own self-esteem and how it benefits a marriage...most of it were things about how to make a relationship work
I'm in the middle of it now... not NEARLY as bad as I thought it would be. We have two host couples and they do talk a lot about their own marriages, experiences, etc. In each session they pose a couple of questions and kind of go around the room to see what we have to say, but nobody is expected to share if they don't want to. I'm actually enjoying it, and I thought I would dread it.
