What do u do w your engagement ring the day of..??
Do u wear it & then take it off for the band & then put it back on? or do u just leave it on & then FH puts band on after or do u not wear it at all?? It's getting close!!

I've heard on here that many brides will transfer the engagement ring to their right hand before the ceremony, and then replace the ring onto the left hand after the ceremony.
Also, if you want to incorporate the transfer into your ceremony, you can have your officiant do a quick 'engagement ring ceremony.' After your FH puts the wedding ring on your finger, the officiant says something about the promise of marriage and fulfilling that promise today and your FH will take the ring from your right hand and replace it onto your left.
Or you can just keep the e-ring on your right hand throughout the ceremony.
Your wedding band is supposed to be the first ring on your finger, closest to your heart. Then the e-ring goes on after it, if you're going to wear both on the same hand.
It's actually up to you, what you're comfortable doing.

I wore it on my right hand then when we were in the limo going to the RH i put my e-ring back on my left hand

After the ceremony I will just switch the band and the ering. I plan on wearing both all night.

RIGHT before I walked down the aisle with my dad, my DOC Tara whispered to me to switch my ring to my other hand...so I did!
DH said it confused him and he wasn't sure where to put the wedding band!

i'm going to wear my engagement ring on my left hand where it always is. The wedding band will go on the outside of the finger. After the ceremony, I'll switch 'em around to the way it 'should' be.

I put it on my right hand. I actually forgot until a minute before we exchanged rings so I switched it real quick. I was a little distracted. Then after the ceremony I switched it so that the e-ring was on the outside of my wedding band.

well mine was too small for my rin finger on the opposite hand so I had it on my left hand then switched it to my right pinky just before it came time for rings

I forgot to switch it before the ceremony started so I had to do it quickly right before he put the wedding band on me! I don't think anyone else noticed, but I laughed when I watched the video later cause it looks like I'm trying to be all stealthy.
