bms wearing plazzo pants and a really dressy top. i have been thinking about that for awhile. fh wants a wedding that is very different from what everyone is used to. so i thought that was different. i do have some large girls in my wedding and, i think they would feel more comfortable in pants and some would look better. give me some feedback please.

Plazzo pants are not very flattering on anyone unless your Gisele. Even than thats pushing it. I think if you want to be different, try doing an era peice, like the 50's, 60's or even the 20's! A cute flapper inspired dress is cute and different. Or try different color combos. Even feathers are cool, but not to many because people don't want to feel like a peacock. Why not look into some different kinds of dresses for each of your BMs... Maybe one of them has a curvy body, than she can wear a cute belt or if one of them is a little bigger, she can wear one of those super cute Dark on bottom, light on top Aline gowns. Anything that is empire waist and aline is flattering on anyone. But good for you for wanting to be different. Being unique is so important...

i did talk to my bms and they love the idea. i been to a wedding that the bms wore tuxes. i didn't think it was a bad idea, but seeing everyones responses im second guessing. and some girls on here r very rude.

ummm no. .. definitely not feeling that and truthfully as a BM I would be in my head thinking MAAAANNN I love her but I gotta pay for those!! LOL . . (As a good BM I wouldn't voice it! LOL).
But ITA with if you wanna be different try a modified theme like vintage touches with vintage dresses or have them do even period costumes (just saw rich bride poor bride so that's in my head)
Or have them go all out with period hair/headdress. .
Maybe have them wear all completely different dresses in different colors -- like SJP's Carrie in SATC in her FIRST wedding --
Notice that none of the ladies dresses are identical in style or color. . . each has different ideas/details and vibrant colors. . .
ETA: They are all even carrying different bouquets like their own individual bridesmaidness.
Or maybe choose some other color combo's for your wedding are maybe a bit bolder than most. .Like oranges and purple shades or other stuff like that red and pink I dunno I've seen it done well
