what do u ladies think??

i bought this for FH today... its a sheild shape with Saint michael (protector of police) For FHs NYPD academy graduation... it has a little St. Michael and a little police man in the center... what do u think??...like usual my camera STINKS and its not such a good pic

I think it's perfect..FH has the same one. His brother bought it for him when he graduated the academy, then eventually had his shield number engraved on the back of it when he got his shield number! He wears it every day, and he will be on the force for 5 years next month.

oh thanks that makes me feel better.. i was afraid he wouldnt wear it.. and i do want to get his sheild # he has it now.. but its possible for them to change it up till graduation

Yep, they're almost the same ones. My best friend also bought her boyfriend and his twin brother those when they graduated the academy. I don't think that they will change the shield number, they usually give them out the last week of the academy. HOWEVER...now I am so superstitious (sp?) and I make sure he never, ever takes it off--not even to shower!!

thats how i am.. im a worrier.. and he doesnt worry about a thing... thanks i really appriciate it.. i would like to get him soemthing else but not sure what.. i think ill get him his safe for his gun.. it just STINKS cuz grad. is the day after christmas.. nothing like a little bit of DEBT... and im thinking of giving him this necklace EARLY cuz they get their guns on MONDAY and i dont want him with out this when he has his gun.. cuz i worry so much

You and I are cut from the same mold! I was the same way...does he know where he's going? (Queens, Bronx,...?). The gun safe is a good idea, that's where my e-ring was for 10 days, right under my nose in the closet and I didn't even know it!! My FH is the same way about worrying, nothing gets to him. Me, I worry enough for the both of us! He works midnight to 8am, so that can be really stressful! Once he gets out on the street, feel free to FM me any time you get worried... I'm becoming a pro at handling it!

thanks so much i really appriciate it.. his uncle is some big shot.. so hes getting him where he wants to go ... Queens... i always get it wrong.. its either 103 or 113... and he said that hell prob get stuck ith 6pm to 2am.

thats ok jess... and marie.. its nice to know someone else is going through what i am.. since none of my friends get it.. well one does but their story is hard to understand i still dont get it.. and hes going to manhatten (FH calls that, cheating.. cause all they do is direct traffic) ...and FH thinks hes invinciable
