What do u like to do that doesnt require a lot of money?
And Im not talking about that get your mind out of the Gutter.
I mean where do u like to go? Like I want to have a 'date' But I don't want to do the usual movies, Dinner, mini golf. I was thinking of like a cute little town to walk around in? but where?

I don't know LI at all, but sometimes I make us picnics for a nice day. Do you guys have any common hobbies- roller blading, golf, going to the beach...

I may be partial because I am from there, but Sag Harbor is THE PLACE to be...especially when its nice and warmer out...a nic little walking town...stop by La Superica for a nice cold Drink!!

The other day we walked around Eisenhowser Park. We actually watched some local teams play softball and we had a lot of fun. And we stopped at the ice cream truck and then sat on a pinic bench to eat it.

Sands Point Preserve.. I take my kid there and we walk the trails... explore the beach... have a picnic. The museum has a fee but I don't think it's too much.

Port Jeff. Village is fun, and I also like going to the Holtsville Ecology Center. It is like a zoo, but free--there are lions and bears and bald eagles...Fun to walk around and pet the llamas...

FH packed a picnic basket with cheese, non alcoholic wines, crackers, halvah and chocolate and took me to bayard cutting arboretum in oakdale a couple of weeks ago. it was a surprise, but it was the best date we'd had in a reallllly long time!

Oohh I love bayard cutting! There is this little island attached by a bridge, and we are always the only ones there!

we like going into the city- just walking around and site seeing.. walking over the brooklyn bridge, strolling down river park or in central park.. anything like that.

We like to take day trips. We like to drive to Montauk for the day and walk around and hit the fruit stands on the way back. We also like to go on picnics.

The vanderbuilt museum in greenlawn is nice. The Hamptons area is nice to walk around. The Jones Beach boardwalk is also nice to walk on - I loved it there.

Dh and I like to go mountain biking..we go through Stony brook college and trails in Rocky point... Once you buy the bike that's all the cost involved.
We also like to hike through blydenburg park, connetquot state park and the Avalon in Old Stony Brook
