FH and I decided originally to have 2 people in our BP- his brother as best man and my SIL as MOH. Now i kinda want a bigger party (we had decided to keep it simple, keep costs and drama down) so i was thinking of adding FH's best friend (boy) and his cousin (girl).
the reason why i want it a little bigger is 1. his best friend should be in the wedding party. 2. i dont have faith that FBIL can handle any best man duties on his own. 3. i think it would like nice in the pictures
My question is will having 2 couples look wierd? Should it be a little bigger, like should i add another couple? IF thats the case, id rather keep it to 1 couple since that would involve drama with my brother and his wife.

I only have two girls -- my best friend and FSIL -- for my bridal party.
FH has his dad as his best man (so I'm not sure that 'counts') as well as my brother, my other best friend, and his best friend. So 3 guys (+ his dad).
I'm excited about having a small bridal party and keeping it almost all in the family. It sounds like you have a great idea! You should defintely do what works for you and FH and what will make you both happy!

I agree but i went with a bigger one 6 on each side because i couldnt choose between my friends and wanted a big BP to me its more fun but you do whatever makes you happy!

I stopped thinking a long time ago about what would look weird, it's my wedding, just like your bp is up to you! My BP isn't even anymore but the important thing is that those who should be inckuded are and we didnt just add people to fluff it up and make it even.

I agree. I've seen bridal parties with 2 couples and it looked fine. Sometimes when its too big it can cause drama depending on the people involved

You can have as many or as few as you want. We may only have a MOH and BM. It's my family whose making abig deal about asking 2 other couples to be in it. You don't even have to have a MOH or BM, it's just tradition and traditions are meant to be broken

I don't think it will look weird at all. Do what makes sense to you and FH, it's your wedding and it should be exactly how you want it to be

I don't think it will look wierd.
We had a MOH (my BF from college) and a BM (DH's BF from college).

This is EXACTLY why I asked my BF from college to be my MOH and my DH asked his BF from college to be his BM.
We couldn't imagine then not being a part of our wedding.
When we got engaged, we talked about the bridal party. We both said that we wanted our BFs to be in our bridal party. They are the most important people to us.

Anything you want is fine... even if you just want to add his best friend, I don't think you have to have another girl in the wedding party..things don't have to be even.
