What do worms look like (the kind that puppies get)?

Sorry if TMI - but when Casey pooped this morning and I cleaned it up, it looked like it had worms in it...I couldn't tell if it was just some weird stringly looking weeds from the grass - I am going to check again next time she goes. Anyone know?

My vet said they look like grains of rice, but I've never actually seen them myself. Did you just give her the de-wormer medicine?

Yeah they can look like grains of rice or be long stirngs like spaghetti. Or there can just be eggs. They are usually alive and move. So next time she poops just check to see if there is anything moving.

They look like little grains of white rice.

OK i called the vet - she had her rabies shot yesterday and also her heartworm med - which my DH forgot to inform me of When she pooped again they were there and looked like moving spaghetti strings absolutely disgusting. We have to go get medicine for her on Friday bc they are closed today and tomorrow. The vet said it is not life threatening or anything. GROSS!!!!!! Where's the puking emoticon when I need it!!

ETA they are called roundworms.
