call you future inlaws?? I call them by their first names....I don't think I will ever call them mom or dad because I think that only my parents deserve that from me. But when FH and I talk we do refer to them as mom and dad.

just do it! whats the worst that happens?? my aunt called her inlaws mr and mrs till they passed away-i was like talk about being respectful.
I dont call FIL anything. I avoid having to adress him by his name or 'mr. g' as MIL refers to him.

When fh and I talk i say mom and dad.... but to them I call them Millie and Jonnie...i would lvoe to call his father dad since I would rather call mine by his first name lol...

I will call them Mom and Dad once we are married, but now I try to avoid calling them by their names because FMIL still signs bday cards and stuff Mr and Mrs. FH calls my parents by their first names bc they told him to.

First names...FH doesn't even call his stepdad 'dad' or any variation of it, so I sure don't either.
