What do you all think....?

Melting Pot for FH and me on Valentine's Day?? I think it's a good idea and the prices aren't too bad.

This place is great, I havent been to the one in Long Island yet but there is one near my parents house in Fort Lauderdale.... It takes like 3 hours to cook and eat everything and when u leave there ur full but not stuffed...

fh are going to the fondue place by my house for v-day/one year to go dinner. I love fondue...and the setting is sooo romantic

great choice! i love that place! fh and i decided we would go to the city for v-day since we haven't been in a long time. probably a show and dinner at ruby foo's...love their sushi

Well, it's not the cheapest place on the block... the 5 course meal for Valentine's Day weekend is 45pp on Friday and Sunday and 80pp on Saturday.

So, we'll be going on a Friday

i've heard the same. i heard that you go there hungry.. but it takes a while to cook the actual food... then you get like a nibble. lol. he also said he was there for 2 and a half hours.

i have never been... wanted to go... until i heard all that. lol

I like it there...but if you are looking for really good food...it's not the place. I HIGHLY recommend the cheese and chcolate...but the actual food options are just 'eh'. Everything is cooked in the same broth and it all starts to taste the same. Plus, you have to cook it...so it's time consuming.

we all know that

it is expensive for the amount of food you get but not for the quality if that makes sense. i had 8 in my party and it ran $52.50 per person. Tip alone was $65 lol. and we were there almost 3 1/2 hours

if you did a 'couples' package it would be about $70 for the 2 of you for a basic package or if you did an separate entree it'd be about $20 pp.

definately a place to experience at least once.....but i'd say not with more than 2 people
