What do you all think of this INSTEAD of bouquet & garter

doing the opposite...calling the men to catch the bouquet and the ladies to catch the garter.....

If you think that it will go over well at your wedding...then by all means, do it.

just trying to think of something different...most of the younger adults all have SO's.....and I know a lot of girls won't come up to catch the bouquet

not a fan of the garter and bouquet toss. from my experinece, many brides are opting not to include this tradition.

I have an idea for you!
Why don't you invite ALL women up to catch the bouquet (married or not) and ALL men for the garter. The winners win a special dance with the bride and groom! The woman who catches it dances with your FH and the guy dances with you!

At a good friend's wedding they asked all the married couples to come onto the dance floor and the narrowed them down to the couple who had been married the longest. Then, they got the garter and bo-k. It was really very sweet. In a way, it honored the groom's grandparents for being together for so many years.
