with all the stuff yo plan to bring to the reception: favors, items for place card table, toasting glasses, cake server... do you go the day before.. how does this work?

usually your CH allows you to drop off all that stuff a few days prior to your wedding...and you can leave instructions as to exactly how you want things displayed and/or set up..just ask them.

Well according to my hall you bring everything like 3-4 days before with the items labeled with the brides last name. You will tell them where you want everything and they take care of it. If you want I guess you could send someone U trust to go to the hall to make sure the things are the way U want them.

the swanclub told me you bring everything over about a week before hand... It may be beneficial to send someone over that day and make sure its all as you planned...
