I've noticed there's not a lot of 'thats ugly' going on! What do you do when someone posts something you don't like (i.e. What do you think of my wedding moo moo?)? I personally just don't respond to it. I know if I post something horrible, I want you ladies to say 'are you out of your mind?' Be brutal! I don't know if this makes sence..... Ignore me, I'm very bored.....

If I dont have anything nice to say...
and constructive criticism blended with a compliment works well.
sometimes on the knot, they can go to far on the negative feedback. and on here it sometimes goes too far on the 'blowing smoke up my butt' side.

Re: What do you do?
if i see something i just dont like-- i will not post anything-- if its not that bad then I would make a coment-- some girls are a bit harsh- but sometims thats what one might need

Re: What do you do?
if there is a poll i will post what i really think.
if it is something i don't like i most likely just won't post anything. i never lie and say i like something i don't, but i don't want to tell others i don't like their ideas (different tastes for different people)

Re: What do you do?
I just try to be graceful and tactful about expressing opinions. Not that you have to agree or blow smoke up my butt (liked that expression! lol) but it just bothers me when people are all 'I HATE THAT!' and comments to that effect are unnecessary, IMO. Everyone has their opinions, just be respectful about it. Just IMO.

I think you can't be too harsh. Voice your opinion, but be nice about it kinda thing. Then again the other person can't feel upset or angry over what you say either. IMO

Re: What do you do?
I usually just dont post if I dont like something. I have thought about sending Fm to the person but still thought I would be out of line.

Re: What do you do?
I believe in giving an honest opinion whether they like it or not, because that is what I would expect in return. Sometimes hearing it from someone else's point of view makes you think about it differently.
Then again, I'm not one to ever sugar coat things. And I believe in beating in bushes, not around them!!

Re: What do you do?
Like when I looked like MIMI from the Drew Carey show and everyone told me I looked beautiful!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
I'm honest...not BRUTALLY honest, but honest. I'd suggest something else that might look like a better fit...OR just not respond.
Obviously I wouldn't be HONEST if it's about something MAJOR like a dress or flowers (everyone's taste differs,) but definitely about hair, makeup, and jewlery.

Re: What do you do?
Here is how I look at it.....a perfect example was yesterday I asked about a monogram I made, just to try for DIY projects. I asked for opinions. I got some good and some so so and suggestions. Exactly what I was looking for. HONESTY! The truth is, I put things on here to get a response but do I really get bothered if someone DIDNT like my idea? NO because we all have different opinions and entitled to different taste. Even if you ( a LIW member) didnt like it, Im still using it. Y cause I LIKE IT. I dont tend to answer to posts if I dont like or agree with whats being shown. Its my comment and opinion and I dont believe that should change what you like and feel about what you just presented.
I like posting pics of things I have done because Im sure like everyone else, we all like to look. Gives me something to do at work
This site is great for every part of what it does.Except for the caddyness that we luckily have not seen on this board. Thanks 06 girls!

BELIEVE ME...no need to apologize. I was hysterically laughing myself!
I knew who my TRUE friends were on here (Just Kidding Ladies!) when I didn't see that they responded to my post!

Re: What do you do?
If I don't like something but for a specific reason, then I let it be known why in a nice and tactful way. If I don't like something because that's just not my taste or style, I don't respond....

if I posted something and asked for an opinion I'd want you guys to be honest with me...I'm honest with you all..without being brutal or mean...that just how I am.

Re: What do you do?
I just don't respond if I don't have anything nice to say- I like to keep my integrity for when I do like something
there is nothing worse then seeing 100 posts saying 'you look great' when the girl doesn't
it's nice that everyone is nice- but sometimes being honest is better
