What do you do???

So I have caught bits and pieces of things from different threads but I was curious what everyone does for a living. I know there are a lot of teachers, nurses/doctors etc. I just like to know you all better considering how much time we all spend on here.

I'll go first.

So as many of you know/don't know I am the Editorial Marketing Manager at The Knot, I teach at C.W.Post and I own my own Internet company called Moca Logix.

So what do you do?

I am also a marketing coordinator for an electrical company.
And lastly, I work for a cheerleading company called Cheer Zone where I help squads pick out uniforms and size them. Whew...

I love it!! I was a cheerleader and I miss it so much. I wanted to assist in coaching at a high school but I think I need to be certified or something. I like to hear other women as busy as myself

I'm a Financial Assistant at an IT staffing firm and I'm in school doing my pre reqs for my accelerated BSN. Hopefully when this is all over I'll be a palliative care/hospice nurse.

not an easy place at all but the first time i stepped inside I knew it was where I needed to be! With a strong support system away from work, I think it can be very rewarding!

Re: What do you do???

I start my Masters in Education in September.

I own a freelance event planning company. I do DOC for weddings, events, etc. I have 5 clients that I am doing weddings for this year alone!

I bartend on Sundays for extra wedding $$.

I'd say that my real passion is wedding planning but there's like NO dollars in that yet, and I don't have the time to do it full-time.

When I finish my Masters I will be a high school history teacher.

I am currently a graduate student, pursuing my PhD in Biomedical Engineering. I am supposed to finish in Dec, and then I'll be looking for an R&D job in industry.

Re: What do you do???

I work for MetLife as an Operations Manager specializing in Compliance and Operations. Compliance is all that legal stuff that insurance companies have to follow. It's stressful at times but what are you going to do? And, I am going to school at night- almost have my bachelors in Business! I have an Associate's in Fashion Buying and a Minor in Design. After I get my degree, I am getting an MBA!
