Re: what do you do at a bridal shower?

I am not a fan of bridal showers. So I told my mom to follow the rules listed below:

1. The guests should arrive only 30 min before I do (don't make them wait)

2. Serve drinks immediately!

3. The opening of the gifts must only take between 30 -40 minutes (if it must be done at all, why bore the guests)

4. There will be no bingo or toilet paper bride
(Let the people socialize)

5. Do not make me open up anything sexy in front of my grandmother

6. Tell me when it is so I can plan an outfit

im not! like i said im the the first out of my friends to get married and my ladies while fabulous are also clueless...they didnt even know they had to throw a bridal shower until earlier today when i mentioned that i cant wait until it...that made me nervous..so im just getting some stuff together to give to them...im usually the ring leader in our group anyway..so they expect me to tell them what to do..they now know they have to do it, and all that, and the know i want to be surprised..so im just going to give them a list of things to do at it, and a few nice places...and thats it

What is toilet paper bride?

Here is a cute game to play... It is like hot potato only you pass around a box with a 'teddy' in it and whoever ends up with the box has to model the teddy. The winnder finds out it is only a teddy bear. Can you imagine the anxiety!?
