I think it depends. If its a close friend I would confront them, if it just an acquiantance then I would move on.

If it is buggint he daylights out of you , then you confront them THEN move on..........but if you don't really care then just you shrug it off and mozy on down the road.........

if you thought the person was a TRUE CLOSE FRIEND not just an acuqnitance (sp?) then you you shold talk to them. other then that its a waste of time IMO

I am soooooo sensitive I am trying to work on this It's just that once I am hurt or angry it takes a long time for me to get over it I wish I could walk away and not look back but unfortunately I am not that person... So in reading my post i guess I will confront the person but I am not sure if it is worth it .....but it DOES bother ME

Re: What do you do when

This has happened to me by someone I thought was a good friend. And all I wanted to do was put her in her place (I'm good for that...)

Then I thought about this person's nature. Finally, I decided she didn't deserve know that she had affected me at all, so I deleted her number and never spoke to her again. She's not worthy of my time. I saw her on the street a few weeks ago and I walked past her as if I didn't even know her. And it felt REAL GOOD.

i am currently dealing with a similar situation. i confronted my 'friend' because it was important to me. turns out we have 'irreconcilable differences'. it's very difficult to deal with someone who thinks she 'knows better' and is 'always right'. actions speak louder than words, and her inability to resolve this issue with me stated that she did not value the friendship as i did. it took me a while to realize this and i was very, very hurt...but life goes on...

we no longer speak and she is dating my ex-best friend (a guy) who i no longer speak to as well. it was a drawn out process, but it feels better to disengage for now... if she wants to fix this, she knows how to get in touch.
