You see dresses that you love but they are not available anywhere!! I LOVE the Perla by Maggie Sottero and no bridal salon on Long Island carries it! My sister just called ALL salons that carry Maggie Sottero and no one has it! Do any bridal boutiques special order sample dresses??
Please help and let me know if any of you have come across the same situation!

I'm actually going crazy trying to find the Maggie Nevaya... My MOH called and luckily I had two that are suppose to get it in within the month, but she said a few stores told her that they will ship the dress to the store for $70-$80 (diff stores told her diff prices), if you like the dress the money will go towards the dress..if not..your out of luck..but if you really feel like that might be the one, it might be worth it!

When I was looking at Maggie dresses I was told that most of the fall line samples will not be in stores until Oct. but many of them are available to try on at trunk shows. You could look on the Maggie web site and see if there are any trunk shows coming up.

I know Helen's Bridal in Commack just had a Maggie Sottero trunk show about a week and a half ago. Maybe they still have the dress?

I'm having the same problem... I went to Helen's last week when they were having the trunk show and they STILL didn't have any of the dresses I liked!

Take a road trip. Call around in Jersey, Connecticut, even PA, and see if anyone has it . . . . why not??? You'll spend as much time looking for something like it as you will driving to the dress you want.

I would take a road trip..call the salons in Jersey/Connecticut/Westchester and find out who specifically has the dress you're looking for. Go there, try it, and love it. Then you could have the salon you're planning on buying the dress from order the sample and put that $ towards the dress, if it is the ONE.

I have the exact same problem. Carmela's in Huntington told me that they could get the dress from Maggie Sottero and they would charge me $70 for shipping, which could be applied to any dress within the store. I think we may have to expand our search to the NJ/Westchester/CT area to try and find the dress. Good luck! I know the feeling!

i've heard that Helen's in commack had some maggie dresses, they are the only one i know of right now that has the one i want. if you wan't, i would maybe find a bridal salon that you are comfortable with and maybe have them order it for you. my sister ordered a dress from a salon because she LOVED the sales people, they are AMAZING. something to consider... most places will let you put the money you spent on the shipment of the dress towards the dress you pick if you don't like it.
