What do you do when FI

What do you do when FI

hangs onto arguments and all you want to do is make-up??? this is how it is EVERYTIME....I know it is silly and most often try to give him space but sometimes its like unnecessary to keep it going ya know.

I always tell FI, the horse is dead so stop hitting it. He has a hard time moving on as well.

i make him laugh...i pretend to be him moping and being mad and it cracks him up. it helps that he's like twice my size and i use one of those awful guy voices like i'm 8 and trying to sound big and tough. laughing just thinking about it

Unfortunately, he's not that easy, he stays like REALLY mad, it makes me crazy, unless I am REALLY mad too then we both need to cool off but I wanna go to bed and he wont come and i cant lay there alone

hmmm....well then try singing a song he hates way off key...haha..FH does that sometimes too...i usually talk until he is sooooo annoyed by the sound of my voice that he'll just go to bed to shut me up. really i am not out to drive the man nuts....i just don't like confrontations and i like things to be all smiles.....so after the anger has flown, i try to make it as light as possible....try telling him jokes....start with gradeschool knock-knocks.....you'll sound soooo silly that he'll have to laugh....and yes, it may go down like this

YOU hey joe, knock-knock.
silence
YOU who's there (use the fake guy voice)
silence
YOU jo
silence
YOU jo who? (guy voice again)
silence
YOU jo mama. then crack up like you're a comic genius....eventually he'll laugh that or he's broken and you'll need to return him to macy's for a replacement. i also like to do poor renditions of chris rock and stuff....he can't stand my butchery of comedic slander so he just loses it and will do about anything to shut me up...including get over himself.

just be silly....eventually he'll crack.
