What do you do when friends fight in public or in front of you...

Meaning when you go out with another couple and they fight in a restaurant, etc.

This happens a lot with this one couple we go out with...it's so embarrassing, and they try to bring us into the fight by explaining their side, etc.

I hate it!

I would either leave when they start doing this, stop going out with them so much or tell you friend that you feel uncomfortable

They do it at dinner...usually a crowded restaurant..or in the movie theatre...there's no where to really 'go'.

We usually just keep silent and try to change the subject. It stinks!

Tell them not to involve you or your fh. That their fighting is none of your business.

DH's brother and girlfriend do this ALL the time. I have told DH that i won't go out with them anymore. It's ridiculous. We usually just try to change the subject when it happens.
