What do you do with your dress when the wedding is over?
What do I do? I dont want to put it in the box and keep it. Do people sell a used wedding dress or is there a place to donate them. I dont care about the $.
TIA

There are places where you can sell (like Craigs List or Ebay or even here) your gown and places like the Salvation Army where you can donate it to.

When my cousin's twins were christened she used material from her dress to make the babies christening gowns. I thought that was a nice idea.

I'm getting it dyed black and cut short and wearing it as a fancy cocktail dress to every party for the next 5 years!
I love my dress can't part with it ..
well, maybe maybe... if someone loved it as much as me, and really really wanted it I'd sell it

I might try to donate it, but I might feel differently after I wear it!

I'm planning on donating mine to Brides against Breast Cancer. My mom and I were just talking about it today and she is probably going to do the same with her dress. Might as well have it get used.

I thought that was a family tradition my family had..it's nice to see other people are putting their dresses to good use as well.
It's my family's tradition to make baptism clothes for our future kids out of our wedding dresses. I still have my baptism clothes that was made from part of my mom's wedding dress. Plus it holds so much more meaning to the outfit

I'm doing a 'Trash the Dress' photo shoot after the wedding, so I plan on throwing it out when the day's over.
