What do you get in Business and First Class?

This is wedding related, I swear!

FH and I are trying to build up our AA miles so that we can fly first class to Europe for the honeymoon. Now reading the site, I think that you're just bumped to the next class of service, which from economy would be business class.

So, does anyone have any idea of what you get in each of the classes that you don't get in coach? Obviously the seats are way bigger and more comfy but I mean the other extras. Are drinks free in business class? Better food, etc? And what's the difference between business and first class?

Help!!

OK, I flew first class a lot when I was working on Wall Street. Free drinks, MUCH more leg room, free ear buds to listen to the movies, our own bathroom in the front of the plane, hot towels for the beginning and end of the flights...Let me think about more...

ETA: The food was more fancy, but not necessarily better quality. I had filet mignon a lot but it was very chewy and tasted like it had been microwaved...

Each airline and flight is different. It mostly depends on the kind of plane.

Ive gone Business to London and that was much better than the First Class trip I took to Seattle.

Both Biz and First Class are leaps and bounds better than coach if you are a new/large plane. Aside from a larger seat, you get a much better class of food and entertainment. Yes, drinks are free. Depending on the airline, they will give you a personal DVD player and a selection of movies for you to choose. They might also give you noise cancelling headsets which are amazing. Drinks are free. Service is always better. Oh and the seats are not only bigger but you can recline them more and some have footrests. The better first classes have chairs that go down completely into beds.

Smaller airlines and planes tend to have less of a difference between coach and the upper classes. So its mostly a nicer meal and a bigger seat.

Ive never been but Virgin Atlantic has a masseuse and a manicurist in first class. But that is fairly unusual.
